The Student Council program empowers and equips your students with the knowledge and skills to be transformative leaders in your school, community, and beyond. In addition, it provides a necessary bridge between students and school leaders—helping you to engage and hear what students think, feel, and need.

Interact is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young people in middle and high school. Interact clubs focus on community service, leadership development, and international understanding.

Nutrition Advisory Council is composed of students working towards health and wellness for their school and community. 

Nutrition Advisory Council meets twice per month at 3:05 p.m. in room 107.

Nutrition Advisory Councils (NACs) are student-led and work to affect healthy change through student-to-student nutrition education aimed at increasing the daily consumption of fruits and vegetables and physical activity among their peers.

NACs give students the opportunity to be nutrition education leaders by working directly with their peers. NACs are sponsored by a teacher, but the real work is done by the students. Their goal – to inspire healthy change at their schools.

SAFE Club is a student-led GSA (Gay-Straight Alliance) founded in 2018.

The purpose of SAFE is to provide a safe haven for LGBTQIA+ students and their allies, in which they can discuss shared interests & be themselves without fear of discrimination.

In addition, SAFE strives to combat harassment and bullying of LGBTQIA+ students and allies, build student confidence, and educate teachers and students about LGBTQIA+ issues.

SAFE Club meets every third Tuesday of the month after school in room 221.

In JROTC Aerospace Science is 40% of the academic training. Leadership Education is another 40% of academic training and Physical Training and Wellness is the remaining 20%. The Aerospace Science curriculum includes the history of aviation, principles of flight, meteorology, navigation, flight physiology, and exploration of space. The Leadership Education curriculum includes the military training of uniform wear, drill, customs and courtesies; it also includes stress management, leadership styles, communication skills, and financial management. Multiple opportunities are provided to enrich the curriculum, including drill teams, field trips, parades, color guards, and special summer programs.

The Morristown East FFA Chapter meets after school on every second Tuesday of the month at 3:10 in room 137

"FFA" is an agricultural education youth organization that promotes personal growth, premier leadership and career success. 

To accomplish its mission, FFA:

Increases awareness of the global and technological importance of agriculture and its contribution to our well-being.
